About John

Representative John Spiros began his career by serving 6 years in the United States Air Force. While in the service, John was a member of an elite security squad at Offutt Air Force Base Nebraska, where he was tasked with protecting the 26 generals and the command center for the Strategic Air Command. After his time in the Air Force, John served as a police officer for the cities of McKinney and Rowlett, Texas, before beginning his career in the transportation industry. John also serves on the State’s Transportation Projects Commission and is Wisconsin’s Commissioner at the Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission. Through his work with the World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association, John has worked with legislators from all over the world to promote and preserve Hellenic culture globally.
