VOTE SPIROS IN AUGUST 13 PRIMARY

Hello! My name is John Spiros, and I have had the honor of representing the 86th Assembly District since 2012. We’ve accomplished a lot during that time: the tax burden on Wisconsin residents is at an all time low, we’ve invested billions in state and local roads, public safety has been a priority, and school choice has expanded while public schools receive 2/3 funding. I’ve spent the last 12 years working hard to represent Central Wisconsin in Madison, and I am excited to continue the work to ensure our state is a great place to raise a family and grow old.

While the legislative maps have shifted since the last election, my commitment to representing our communities has not wavered. As the incumbent, I look forward to continuing to represent the communities of the 86th Assembly District in the Assembly. And boy, is it an exciting time in the Assembly… Wisconsin Democrats want to turn our state into Minnesota 2.0 and will stop at little to achieve it. The Governor has vetoed middle-class and retirement tax cuts and he and his allies want to overturn conservative reforms like Act 10. It’s going to take leadership and experience to stop them.

While I am proud to have been part of the Assembly for the last 12 years as we advanced conservative priorities, the work is far from over. I am running to represent the 86th Assembly District for another term to ensure that Wisconsin does not fall down the same path as some of our liberal neighbors with unsafe communities, high taxes, and parental rights all but nonexistent. We need to ensure middle-class families can thrive with a strong local economy, clean drinking water, and safe communities. This is why I’m running for re-election, and I humbly ask for your vote on August 13. With hard work, honesty, and experience we can continue to make Central Wisconsin an even better place to live, work, and play.
